Over 500 high school students in the Neapolitan area, as well as many aspiring workers, participated this morning in the Career Day organized in Torre del Greco by Assarmatori, in collaboration with its own special purpose company “Oltremare – Integrated services for shipping”, with the Stecca incubator and with the patronage of the Municipality of Torre del Greco.

During the initiative, carried out at the headquarters of the Stecca incubator (Ex Mulini Marzoli Area), workers and children from nautical, hotel, technical-professional and tourism schools had the opportunity to learn about the opportunities offered by a maritime career, interacting with representatives of the various shipping companies and learning more about the reality of each company through a dedicated front desk and the setting up of a specific exhibition space. Many also took the opportunity to formally propose their candidacy for the open job positions.

The initiative opened with institutional greetings from Michele Polese, Deputy Mayor of Torre del Greco, followed by speeches from the Commander C.F. (CP) Ida Montanaro, and the officials of the General Directorate of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, Catia De Gennaro and Serena Cantoni. Stefano Peduto, Industrial Relations Manager of Assarmatori, and Giuliana Esposito, CEO of the Stecca Incubator, illustrated the details and reasons that led to the holding of this new Career Day.
