Assarmatori strengthens with three new resources

The structure of Assarmatori, an association adhering to Conftrasporto-Confcommercio that represents Italian, European Union and third-country shipowners who operate regular maritime services in Italy, is being strengthened.
In the last month, in fact, the Roman headquarters of the association has seen the entry of Simone Parizzi in the role of Head of the Naval Technology, Maritime Safety and Environment area and Mattia Canevari as Head of the Energy Transition and Maritime Regulation area. Parizzi is a naval engineer, with experience in classification, shipping and shipbuilding companies, who deals with all issues relating to the technical and safety aspects of the ship as well as those relating to the protection of the marine environment and the use of new technologies and new fuels linked to the decarbonisation process of the maritime sector. Canevari is a management engineer with a professional history of over twenty years in the ferry-cruise maritime sector; deals with transport policy, cabotage and Motorways of the Sea and energy transition with particular reference to alternative fuels. Furthermore, since last February the direction of the European Affairs office in Brussels has been entrusted to Cesare Crocini, with a decade of activity in national and community institutions behind him, moving from the Regional Council of Liguria to the Chamber and the Senate, and then arriving at the European Parliament.
“These three reinforcements – comments the President of Assarmatori Stefano Messina – demonstrate our desire to consolidate an even stronger and more complete team, with suitable and varied professionalism to cover all the sectors of our interest. All three new arrivals have already entered the mechanisms of the Association with great rapidity and I am sure that also with their precious help the growth undertaken since our foundation will continue”.
All Assarmatori thanks engineer Enrico Allieri, ready to fully enjoy his well-deserved retirement, for the contribution of passion and competence provided to the Association in these years.
