After the success of the events in Livorno and Torre del Greco, also the third appointment of the Career Days promoted by Assarmatori hit the mark.
Last Friday, in fact, there were over eight hundred participants, including students and interested parties, who took part in the two distinct events organized in Palermo, in the morning at the “Pietro Piazza” Hotel Professional Institute in Corso dei Mille and in the afternoon at the “Gioeni-Trabia” Higher Nautical Training Institute in Via Vittorio Emanuele.
In both cases the objective was to help especially young people to rediscover a tough but fascinating profession, ancient but modern at the same time, providing them with certain answers and encouraging meetings with those who have already undertaken a career at sea.
The meetings saw the participation of the Maritime Director of Western Sicily, Admiral Raffaele Macauda, the representative of the AdSP of Western Sicily, Luciano Caddemi, and the representatives of the companies MOBY, CIN, Toremar, GNV and Caronte & Tourist.
