Confined spaces in the maritime-port area. A seminar promoted by Inail Campania and Assarmatori

The Inail Campania Regional Directorate and the Assarmatori Association have signed a memorandum of understanding, presented last July in Naples, with the aim of promoting and strengthening the system and culture of health and safety at work, with particular reference to the areas maritime and port sectors, through studies and in-depth analysis of innovative technological solutions and with the implementation and dissemination of integrated risk management models in specific working contexts relating to a large sector of fundamental importance for the economy.

The seminar: “Confined spaces in the maritime-port sector”, organized by the signatory bodies of the aforementioned protocol in collaboration with the University of Naples “Parthenope”, falls within the scope of these actions. The initiative is scheduled for Wednesday 14 February 2024, starting from 9.30 am, at the Partenope University, (Centro Direzionale, Isola C4 – Naples).

The conference, which will be opened by greetings from prof. Antonio Scamardella, professor of Architecture and Naval Statics at the University of Naples “Parthenope”, of the regional director of Inail Campania, Daniele Leone and of the director of General Affairs and maritime policies and deputy general secretary of Assarmatori, Giovanni Massimiliano Consoli, sees the participation of numerous experts and professionals in the sector. For Inail, speeches are expected from Pasquale Addonizio, director of the Uot Cvr of Naples and Luciano Di Donato, director of the technologist Dit. Giuseppe Di Palo (Oltremare – Integrated services for shipping) introduces and moderates the debate.
